Personal desktop application
Email Control Center
A private, local-first tool that helps its owner review Gmail more deliberately. It reads a selected mailbox, applies local rules, and produces private local summaries.
Access
Read-only Gmail access during the current pilot.
Storage
Local files and Windows-protected credential storage.
Audience
A personal-use application operated only by its owner.
What it does
Email Control Center retrieves the message metadata needed to recognize important, actionable, routine, and promotional mail. It keeps separate email identities separate, records coverage gaps, and creates reviewable local reports. During its initial baseline it does not request message bodies, attachments, or snippets.
Current limits
The current pilot cannot send, delete, archive, label, forward, or unsubscribe from email. It does not provide Gmail data to advertisers, data brokers, or a hosted mailbox service. Any future mailbox-changing capability requires a separate authorization and explicit approval.
